Welcome Homeschooling Students!
Welcome to The Academy and another wonderful year of home learning! We are blessed to be working with you and hope your online homeschooling experience will be both enjoyable and beneficial. Please know that you have the support of the entire Academy staff as you work to complete your home education courses.
This homeschooling course is a continuation of American History 1, reviewing The Civil War/War Between the States and Westward Expansion, progressing into modern history. American History 2 explores the challenges that face an international superpower. This home education course highlights many of the key events of the 20th Century such as the World Wars, The Great Depression and The Cold War through the Presidency of George W. Bush and 9/11, and examines American actions and the consequences that are still affecting us today.
With that in mind, we welcome you into a full year of online learning and excitement and we pray for God's strength, patience and wisdom to help you in your academic endeavors!
In Him,
The Social Studies Team
